Funding Resources
For the Liberian Agricultural Project to remain financially sustainable and expand its farming service to more rural farmers, the organization has bought 100 acres of farmland in the Margibi and Bong County areas and turned them into agricultural land trusts. Liberian Agricultural Project will also use these large tracts of land to do farming for food/fruit crops and sell them to grocery store within a proximity to the large urban areas.
The organization will diversify its streams of income in these following four areas:
- Membership. Liberian Agricultural Project is an established grower network which members will pay $40 membership fees each year to attend the annual conference and trade show.
- Cargo Van Services. We will provide transportation services for each member for a fixed price to take their produce into the alternative markets in proximity urban centers.
- Grants. Liberian Agricultural Project will search and apply for agriculture grants each year to help its services to members.
- Gifts/Donations. Liberian Agricultural Project will ask for charitable donations from donors and sponsors.
If you would like to make a donation please make your check payable to Liberian Agricultural Project and mail to:
